Tier One Entertainment is proud to announce our first foray into the Malaysian esports scene with the signing of a professional Free Fire team—Baby Argon, who will now be playing under the Blacklist International banner.

There are a number of reasons why we chose to pick Baby Argon up. Firstly, growing a presence in Malaysia aligns with our 2021 goal of expansion to other countries. Free Fire is the second biggest mobile game in the world right now, and is within the top 5 most popular esports titles overall for 2020. And lastly because the players in the former Baby Argon squad are a good fit for Blacklist overall.

Blacklist International’s Free Fire team consists of:

Manager/Coach: Muhammad Izzat “Ejatt” bin Nor Azli

Main squad:

  • Aeman “Manflnk” bin Amsuri
  • Muhammad Faizkmal “Jebat” bin Kamaruddin
  • Muhammad Amirul Haazim “Ajimm” bin Abd Malek
  • Muhammad Nabil Syamim “Fenixx” bin Abd Kahar
  • Muhammad Afiq Khairizman “Cobraa.” bin Che Kamaruddin

Reserve players:

  • Muhammad Arif “Repzz” bin Mohamad Fadzeli
  • Muhammad Afiq Daniel “Klanx” bin Azman

In terms of accomplishments, Baby Argon has placed in the top three at the Free Fire Trination Cup, and was the champion of the last MCP League. Much like Blacklist International, their team came together a little over a year ago. As such, these players share the same hunger for competition and self-improvement that has been a hallmark of Blacklist’s other squads.

“Tier One aims to extend the support we provide to streamers and shoutcasters outside of the country to pro-players as well, through Blacklist International. After our team’s careful research, we chose to pick up a winning team that is aligned with our values in Malaysia in Baby Argon. Every Blacklist International team pick up will be based on one simple criteria: they need to have the potential to be a top team in the world and we feel like that’s the case for Baby Argon.” – Tryke Gutierrez, CEO

The team will compete in the MCP Majors Season 2 and the Malaysia Free Fire Championship later this year. With the promising squad now getting top tier support, it will be exciting to see where Blacklist Free Fire goes from here.
